Broadway is back! The Musical Theater Intensive provides the ultimate Broadway experience, live theater in New York City for the first time in two years! Led by Artistic Directors Matthew Prescott and Maximilien Baud, the program offers training in dancing, singing, and acting, direct from world-renowned performers who have starred in Broadway’s greatest shows. Together with unique performance opportunities, the Musical Theater Intensive is one you do not want to miss!
Students attending the first three weeks of the program will be assigned to a musical, working with Broadway stars to learn the original music and inspired choreography of SIX, Moulin Rouge, or Hamilton. Students attending our final week will have the opportunity to perform onstage in the Joffrey Ballet School Musical Theater production of Legally Blonde, learning the entire process from casting to performance, and everything in-between!
Join us this summer to be immersed in a world of endless opportunities, in the city where Broadway dreams come true!
The Joffrey Ballet School has been operating in-person utilizing Covid Safety procedures since October 2020 without interruption.
