New York City Musical Theater Summer Intensive
The NYC Musical Theater Summer Intensive provides the ultimate Broadway experience in New York City! Led by Artistic Directors Matthew Prescott and Maximilien Baud, the program offers training in dancing, singing, and acting, direct from world-renowned performers who have starred in Broadway’s greatest shows. Each week, students will be assigned to learn choreography inspired by renowned Broadway shows. Together with unique performance opportunities each week, the NYC Musical Theater Summer Intensive is one you do not want to miss!
Qualifying advanced students 14 years and older will receive an exclusive invitation to join the Pre-Professional Track during the final two weeks of the NYC Musical Theater Summer Intensive from June 29 – July 10. This unique program is an enhanced experience for dedicated young performers dreaming of performing on Broadway. Classes are designed to offer specialized professional development through focused classes, master workshops, performance opportunities, and personalized mentorship from a Broadway professional. While all musical theater program participants will perform in the final showcase, only those invited to the Pre-Professional Track will have the option to compete and perform for industry professionals and peers to win the Joffrey Musical Theater’s Got Talent contest. We are excited to offer this exclusive program to performers ready to hone their skills in preparation for the leap into the professional world of musical theater.
