Joffrey Ballet School presents the Joffrey NY Musical Theater Winter Workshop, from December 27–29, 2026 — an inspiring three-day experience in the heart of New York City. Open to young artists ages 10–25, this immersive, in-person workshop offers the opportunity to train with an esteemed lineup of faculty — seasoned industry professionals whose credits span Broadway stages, national tours, and major commercial productions. Under the leadership of Artistic Directors Max Baud and Matthew Prescott, students learn from educators who bring real-world insight and firsthand performance experience directly into the studio.

Throughout the weekend, participants will refine their craft in musical theater jazz, acting, and vocal coaching, developing the technical foundation and versatility that is essential for today’s performer. Each class is designed to challenge, inspire, and elevate young artists in a supportive yet professional environment.

In addition, students will be evaluated throughout the weekend for acceptance and merit-based scholarships to the Joffrey Ballet School 2027 Summer Intensives. Join us for an unforgettable experience — the perfect way to launch the new year in the city where Broadway dreams take center stage!

This workshop is part of the Summer Sampler series; a multi-day workshop to experience what we offer during the worldwide Joffrey Ballet School summer intensives. No audition is required, however, the workshop is designed for dancers at an intermediate level or above.
