Joffrey NY Hip Hop Winter Workshop
Joffrey Ballet School presents the Joffrey NY Hip Hop Winter Workshop, a dynamic, 3-day in-person dance experience from December 19–21, 2026. Led by Artistic Directors Lissette Lucas and David Lucas, this immersive workshop invites dancers to train with the esteemed faculty of the NYC Hip Hop Summer Intensive. Dancers will explore a wide range of styles, including breaking, popping, whacking, tutting, street jazz, house, and commercial hip hop. The workshop will also feature an exclusive audition with scholarship opportunities for the 2027 Summer Intensives! Dancers ages 10–25 are invited to join us, elevate their artistry, and jump-start the 2027 Audition Tour.
This workshop is part of the Summer Sampler series; a multi-day workshop to experience what we offer during the worldwide Joffrey Ballet School summer intensives. No audition is required, however, the workshop is designed for dancers at an intermediate level or above.

Included With Tuition
- All students will receive an exclusive Joffrey Ballet School tote bag and T-shirt as part of their enrollment. These items are included in the cost of tuition and will be distributed during the program
- All workshop students will have the opportunity to audition for the 2027 Summer Intensives. More information is available in the student manual
