Born and raised in the vibrant heart of Southern California, Marina Pegado has woven an extraordinary tapestry of movement and artistry throughout her remarkable career. As a professional dancer and choreographer with over two decades of experience, she has left her mark in iconic cities such as Los Angeles, New York, and Las Vegas.
Marina’s expertise spans a diverse array of dance styles, including ballet, jazz, hip-hop, ballroom, and contemporary. Her vibrant passion for the performing arts is reflected in her many accolades, including renowned awards and scholarships. She has graced prestigious stages, captivating audiences at venues like Disneyland, the Joyce Theater in New York, Bridges Auditorium in California, the Staples Center in Los Angeles, the Ralph Freud Playhouse, Ballet Hispanico in New York, and Franco Dragone’s “Le Reve – The Dream” at the Wynn Theater in Las Vegas.
A true lover of ballet and technique, Marina honed her skills through early training at the Inland Pacific Ballet, Millennium Dance Complex, and The Edge in Los Angeles, as well as at Debbie Allen’s Dance Academy. Her commitment and talent led her to receive scholarships from esteemed institutions such as the American Ballet Theater, Joffrey Ballet School, and STEPS on Broadway, where she performed as an ensemble member. One of her proudest achievements was being accepted as the youngest company member in Ballet Hispanico, realizing her dream of becoming a ballerina while embracing her love for various dance forms.
Marina’s journey continued as she transitioned to Las Vegas, where she became the lead performer in Cirque du Soleil’s enchanting production, “Le Reve – The Dream,” at the Aquatic Wynn Theater. Alongside her illustrious career, Marina finds joy in being a devoted mother, balancing the demands of her artistic pursuits with the joys of raising her child.
