Daniel is a multi-hyphenate performer, choreographer and filmmaker from Columbia, South Carolina. He began training at the age of nine under Dale Lam at the Columbia City Jazz Dance School and Company. Now residing in New York, Daniel has gone on to perform on Broadway and across the country in shows such as Hamilton, Disney’s The Lion King, and Cats as well as performing on the Tony Awards (2017 and 2022). Along with performing on stage, Daniel’s previous commercial credits include: La La LandViceKiss Of the Spiderwoman with Jennifer Lopez (2025), Superstore, Saturday Night Live (Season 47, 49 & 50), Carrie Underwood’s “Something In the Water” and the lead actor in Sara Bareilles’ “Fire”. His directing debut came with Neighbors (2020), an LGBTQ+ web series set during the 2020 Pandemic, for which he was a resident director. Shortly after, he directed To Have & To Hold (2021), a short film about two young lovers trying to enjoy one last morning together. Most recently, Daniel was the Creator, Executive Producer, and Lead Actor of Every Right (2023), a short film about love, validation, and black mental health. Giving back is very important to Daniel, which led him to become a board member on Share the Movement, a non-profit organization dedicated to diversity in the professional dance community by providing financial, educational, and inspirational support to promising young BIPOC dancers.
