The dorm will be closed for Winter break from 5:00 pm on December 16, 2024 - 10:00 am on January 11, 2025. Only international students who will not be able to travel home due to travel restrictions will be allowed to submit a request to stay at the dorm during Winter break. All residents returning to the dorm for the Spring semester do not have to move their belongings out of their rooms. Students who are not returning to the dorm for the Spring semester must completely move out of the residence hall.

Check Out Instructions

Before Departure:
Students are expected to clean their room and apartment before the check out. Please use THIS CHECKLIST to prepare for your checkout. Absolutely no items can be left in halls or room and must be donated outside of the dorm or thrown out.

Guests:
Students are allowed to have guests assist them with moving out of the residence hall.

Departure:
To check out, please text the RA on duty when you are ready to leave at your pre-scheduled time. Students must be completely packed and the room and apartment must be cleaned. The RA will inspect the apartment before the student leaves. Any damages will be noted on the RCR. The student will not be allowed to leave if the apartment was not properly cleaned.

Keys:
Residents must turn in their keys with the RA on duty before checking out. Students who did not leave their keys will be expected to mail it to Joffrey Ballet School or pay the lost key fine.
