Joffrey Ballet School Announces Official Collaboration with Broadway Musical & Juliet for the NYC Musical Theater Winter Workshop
New York, NY – Nov 3, 2025 — The Joffrey Ballet School in New York City is thrilled to announce an exclusive collaboration with the hit Broadway musical & Juliet for this year’s Musical Theater Winter Workshop, taking place December 27–29, 2025, in New York City.
As part of this exciting collaboration, the workshop will feature Casie “Tynee” Goshow, the Associate Choreographer of & Juliet, as Guest Faculty. Tynee, a long-standing member of the Joffrey community through her work with the Hip Hop Summer Intensive and Winter Workshops, brings her signature style and expertise to the Musical Theater program for the first time.
During the three-day immersive experience, Tynee will teach original choreography by & Juliet’s Tony Award nominated choreographer Jennifer Weber, from “Problem” and “Can’t Stop the Feeling.” Participants will also enjoy an exclusive Q&A session with Tynee, offering a behind-the-scenes look into the creative process of one of Broadway’s most celebrated productions.

The Joffrey Ballet School Musical Theater Winter Workshop invites young artists ages 10–25 to train with Joffrey’s all-star NYC Musical Theater Faculty in classes spanning musical theater jazz, acting, and vocal coaching. Over three days, students will grow their performance skills while being considered for acceptance and merit-based scholarships to the 2026 Joffrey Ballet School Summer Intensives.
This workshop is part of Joffrey’s Summer Sampler Series — a multi-day program designed to give aspiring performers a taste of the professional training offered across Joffrey’s worldwide summer intensives. No auditions are required.

About Casie “Tynee” Goshow
Casie “Tynee” Goshow is a renowned hip hop choreographer and breakdancer with over 15 years of teaching experience nationwide. Originally from Pennsylvania and a graduate of Penn State University, Casie has performed and choreographed for artists including Chris Brown, PSY, French Montana, and ENHYPEN, and has been featured in campaigns for Nike, Beats, Adidas, and Vogue World: New York Fashion Week.
A Season 12 Street Finalist on So You Think You Can Dance, Casie currently serves as Associate Choreographer for both the Broadway and National Tour productions of & Juliet. Her passion for empowering young dancers extends beyond the studio through her clothing line, Goshow Yourself, a movement that encourages confidence and individuality.
