Zachary Anderson

Zachary Anderson is an accompanist, music director, and trained actor/singer with a B.M. in Musical Theatre from NYU Steinhardt. He’s a staff pianist at NYU and The Norwalk Conservatory, and will be joining the faculty of Western Connecticut State University’s musical theatre department as a pianist and coach this Fall. Zach has music directed numerous productions and cabarets in both NYC and Fairfield County, CT, including his upcoming (or past, depending on when this is read) cabaret show Zachary Anderson and Friends at The Green Room 42. As an actor, he just played the role of Jean-Michel in La Cage Aux Folles at Music Theatre of Connecticut, where he had previously appeared as Manny in Master Class. He is also in the midst of writing his third full-length musical, The First Year. His favorite tempo marking is “allegro ma non tanto”, and he loves his cat.
