Nicole Duffy

Nicole Duffy is a director and educator from San Juan, Puerto Rico. She was a member of The Joffrey Ballet, both in New York and in Chicago, and currently serves as Rehearsal Director for the Ballet Hispánico company. As a board director and repetiteur for The Gerald Arpino Foundation, she teaches the ballets Robert Joffrey and Gerald Arpino, most recently staging works for ABT Studio Company, Ballet Hispánico, and Barnard College. She has been on faculty at Marymount Manhattan College, Harlem School of the Arts, and the Joffrey Ballet School, and guest teaches for STEPS on Broadway as well as companies and schools nationally and internationally. Ms. Duffy was assistant curator for the Joffrey + Ballet in the US exhibition at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, and holds degrees from Columbia University and NY University. Her dance writing has been published in the Massachusetts Review, Eye on Dance, Dance Informa, and Esferas, and she is thrilled to be part of the Arpino Foundation mission, sharing the vision of Robert Joffrey and Gerald Arpino with a new
generation.
