Maddie Malak grew up in Grass Valley, California, and lived there for 13 years. She trained primarily in ballet a a local dance studio before joining her high school’s advanced dance program. There, she had many performance and leadership opportunities. Maddie also had the chance to attend Josie Walsh’s JoffreyRED in 2022. Now, Maddie is a second-year dance major, and pre-BFA student at California State University, Long Beach. Maddie has always loved working with children and has taught many dance classes to kids in local areas. She had such a wonderful time attending JoffreyRED as a student and working as an RAA last summer, that she can’t wait to be back in Los Angeles for another great summer with Joffrey.
