Judith McCarty is a highly accomplished French-Congolese, Cape Town–raised choreographer, artistic director, and educator whose work spans global stages, major recording artists, and world-renowned institutions. She is the founder and creative director of Afro Afrique, a professional dance company dedicated to elevating African dance forms through elite training, performance, and cross-cultural artistic collaboration.

Judith’s international career includes touring, performing, and choreographing for some of the most influential artists in Afrobeats, hip hop, and pop. Her credits include Ms. Lauryn Hill, The Fugees, Madonna, Wizkid, Davido, Flavour, Tiwa Savage, A-Boogie, Miguel, Burna Boy, Vanessa Williams, and numerous other globally recognized performers.

She has appeared on and contributed to major televised and live productions worldwide, including Masters of Rhythm, Idols (resident dancer), the Metro FM Awards, One Africa Music Fest, Essence Festival, BET Awards, and Global Citizen Festival. Her work reflects a mastery of African social dances blended with strong technical foundations, musicality, and contemporary performance sensibilities.

As an educator, Judith has taught at leading studios across Europe, Africa, and the United States. She currently serves as faculty at two of New York City’s most prestigious institutions—Broadway Dance Center and The Ailey Extension—where she trains dancers of all levels in high-quality technique, drilling, and performance-driven choreography.
