Emily was born near Barcelona, Spain, and moved to Minnesota when she was twelve years old. She is currently pursuing her BFA in Ballet Pedagogy with a minor in Performing Arts Administration at The Hartt School (University of Hartford). While at the University of Hartford, she has had dance pedagogy internships with the University’s Magnet Elementary School and the Hartt Community Dance Division. She has also gotten the opportunity to perform in new and restaged works by Jose Limon, Martha Graham, and Stephen Pier. She worked as a Residential Assistant for Orlando Ballet’s summer intensive in 2023 and as a summer dance intensive instructor at Mankato Ballet Company in 2024. Emily has had experience teaching ballet, modern, creative movement, and jazz to children ages 3-18. Emily currently works as a House Manager for The Hartt School’s Box Office and is expected to graduate in the spring of 2026.
