Atlanta-born Caleigh Santa Maria is a versatile and accomplished dancer, extensively trained in ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, swing, and tap at Decatur School of Ballet. She continued her training at Brenau University, pursuing a Dance Major with a concentration in pre-physical therapy. While at Brenau, Caleigh performed as a member of the Gainesville Ballet Company, studying under esteemed artists including Du’Bois A’Keen, Carl Flink, Owen Scarlett, and Regine Metayor.
Caleigh has enriched her dance education through numerous summer intensives at her home studios and with renowned programs such as Joffrey Ballet and American Ballet Theater. She now shares her passion for dance by teaching the next generation at Decatur School of Ballet.
In addition to her classical training, Caleigh is a highly decorated premier Highland Dancer. She is a Southeast Regional Champion and ranked 5th in the United States. Her talent has taken her internationally, performing in Canada and Scotland as a member of the prestigious Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo Dance Company. A certified Highland dance instructor, Caleigh continues to mentor and inspire young dancers at Killough School of Highland Dance.
