2024 JOFFREY BALLET SCHOOL TICKETED & INTENSIVE ACTIVITIES TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These are the Terms and Conditions for the Ticketed & Intensive Activities during the 2024 summer intensives at Joffrey Ballet School.

By submitting payment for a Ticketed Extra or Intensive Activity, you agree that:

All of the information you provided is correct.
All of the activities, dates and times you selected are accurate.
Tickets for JBS Ticketed Extra and Intensive Activities may only be purchased on the Dancer Portal and Website.
In the event that a Housing student will not have enough time to travel back to the dorm after class, they will need to pack for the day, accordingly and will be required to travel from the studio to the venue.
Housing students (on the meal plan) departing from the studio MUST pick up their pre-prepared dinner during breakfast.
Commuter students who did not travel with the group, must meet at the designated spot by the assigned time.
All JBS students should listen to staff and should be exhibiting proper etiquette. Students are not allowed to be on their phone or talk during a performance, climb over seats, etc. JBS staff members must be respected at all times.
After the activity ALL STUDENTS (HOUSING AND COMMUTER) must meet at the designated spot where attendance will be taken. Commuter students are not allowed to leave until they are dismissed and accounted for. Housing students must travel back to the dorm with the group.
If a commuter student is not present after distribution of tickets is complete, their name and “JBS” will be written on the back of the ticket and left at the box office.
JBS does not honor seating requests. Some seats might not be located in the same row or section as the rest of the group.
Tickets will only be distributed to dancers and guests listed on the roster (as provided when purchasing the tickets).
Some communication may be delayed at times due to many variables.
If a patron purchased a ticket for an activity and did not receive any information they should reach out to a staff member and not wait until the day of the activity to confirm information. If a dancer is unsure about arrangements and instructions concerning an activity, it remains their responsibility to retrieve and confirm that information. JBS will not be liable for a student that missed an activity due to uncertainty concerning arrangements or who did not follow instructions as far as departure times and destinations are concerned.
If a dancer cannot attend an activity that they purchased a ticket for, they must inform the RA on duty immediately. They may choose to gift the ticket to another dancer, but must provide the name and contact details for the ticket claimer. They may also choose to donate the ticket. If there is a waitlist and the event is sold out, the ticket can be sold to a dancer from the list, and only after the ticket is sold, will a refund be processed to the original buyer. It is not the responsibility of JBS to find a replacement or buyer for a dancer who is not able to attend an activity. As all sales are ultimately final, no refunds are guaranteed.

Non-Refundable Fees / Cancellation Policies

It is the policy of the Center for American Dance / Joffrey Ballet School that all fees paid towards ticketed and extra curricular summer intensive activities shall not be refunded at any time, regardless of the time of cancellation by the student or student’s parents or guardians or whether the relevant program/activity has commenced.
