Sara Sotelo is a Masters student at the University of California, Santa Barbara, in the Performance Studies department. A native of Los Angeles, Sara brings a unique blend of academic focus and personal passion to their work, specializing in pop culture and monster history. With experience in residence life, arts administration, and fostering community among dancers, Sara is a returning Resident Administrative Assistant (RAA) with a strong dedication to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for students. In addition to their role as an RAA, Sara has a deep passion for working with students and artists, ensuring they feel connected and supported throughout their time in the program. Outside of academics, Sara enjoys watching baseball, indulging in trashy reality TV, and celebrating the iconic Godzilla films.
