The Joffrey Las Vegas Ballet Summer Intensive is designed to provide dancers with a comprehensive week of ballet training, encompassing the rich history of the Joffrey Ballet while exploring the evolution of ballet in the 21st century. Presented in Artistic Collaboration with Cirque du Soleil Casting, the program offers students a unique connection to the professional performance landscape of Las Vegas.
Students will delve into the foundations of classical ballet technique, honing their skills and artistry. The curriculum includes a mix of classical ballet classes, the study and performance of variations from renowned ballets, and explorations in contemporary ballet styles. This blend allows dancers to connect with the historical roots of ballet while expanding their movement vocabulary and preparing for the demands of today’s dance world. Daily ballet and pointe classes will enforce a strong technical base while additional classes in other dance forms will expand the students’ movement capabilities. The faculty is composed of working professionals, instructors, and choreographers who are prominent in the sphere of concert dance leading our students with expertise, refinement, and mentorship.

Set in the heart of Las Vegas, this immersive program gives students direct access to the energy, precision, and professionalism that define the global entertainment industry. Presented in Artistic Collaboration with Cirque du Soleil Casting, the program offers students a unique connection to the professional performance landscape of Las Vegas.
Train with accomplished Vegas performers—artists who appear nightly in resident productions, touring spectaculars, and major live events along the world-famous Las Vegas Strip. Learn what it truly takes to command a stage and deliver excellence under the bright lights.
Students will experience a rigorous schedule designed to expand versatility and build career-ready confidence. From high-energy choreography to nuanced storytelling, dancers will have the opportunity to share their work with a performance or studio showing each week. The program also includes weekly trips to celebrated Cirque du Soleil shows where students can see first-hand the high-caliber talent of Las Vegas’ performance industry.
