Mara Feier is currently a Sophomore at Chapman University pursuing a double major in Dance and Business Administration. A Detroit, Michigan native, she is dedicated to advancing the dance community through arts administration, education, and equity‑driven initiatives.
On campus, Mara is an Events Executive for Chapman Dance Alliance and Vice President of Community Service for Delta Sigma Pi (Professional Business Fraternity). In these roles, she plans school‑wide events, manages logistics and budgets, coordinates outreach, and fosters community engagement. Combining her artistic background with a strong interest in student development, operations, and wellness, Mara is passionate about creating supportive, equitable, and engaging environments for dancers of all ages. She brings experience as a dance teacher, assistant, and choreographer across multiple studios and conventions, working closely with diverse students. Mara also interns with the Dance Education Equity Association, supporting efforts to create safe, inclusive, wellness‑focused dance environments.
