Lorelei Gorton is a junior at Columbia University studying English & Art History with a minor in Dance. Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, she started dancing at 2 years old and hasn’t stopped since. Last summer, she worked at The Portland Ballet as both an Administrative Assistant and a Seasonal Faculty Member. At Columbia, she serves as the Artistic Director of Columbia University Ballet Ensemble while also dancing with Columbia Ballet Collaborative and Columbia Repertory Ballet. When Lorelei’s not busy with dance, you can find her reading a book, wandering the Met, or cooking with her friends. She’s so excited to share her love of dance with everyone at Joffrey this summer!
