Katya Thalwitz is an undergraduate student at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY, studying Arts Administration in theatre, dance, and film. Most recently, she served as production manager for the Sarah Lawrence Theatre Department’s production of Rent. Additional experience includes serving as a teaching artist for the Lunchbox Youth Theatre Program on campus; choreographer for projects at DMR Adventures in Charlottesville, VA, and Camp Webb in Knoxville, TN; and production assistant for a graduate student film with American University in Washington, D.C. With a background in the performing arts and dance, Katya attended the Virginia Governor’s School for Performing Arts and trained at The Hanover Theatre & Conservatory in Massachusetts. She has also performed with the Moscow Ballet and the Richmond Ballet. Katya is committed to inspiring the next generation of artists as they grow professionally and connect through shared creative experiences.
