Katie Post is a former dancer and current student of Family Studies and Human Development at California State University Sacramento. During her dance career, she studied with the Sacramento Ballet and Dance with the Nashville Ballet, as well as attended several prestigious summer intensives around the nation and even spent time as a hula performer in Hilo, Hawaii. Since the end of her dance career in 2017, Katie has been a ballet teacher at several Northern California Studios and puts special emphasis on dancer health and wellness in her work. bringing her experience as a social-emotional learning coach as well as her interests in holistic wellness and mental health, Katie is excited to be part of the Joffrey team and help to make this summer as great as it can be for all students.
