Gracyn Womeldorph

Gracyn Womeldorph is a Dallas, Texas native whose dance journey reflects a strong foundation in classical training alongside a passion for the commercial and concert dance worlds. She trained extensively at Academy of Dance Arts and performed as a company member with The Dallas Repertoire Ballet. With over 20 years of training in ballet, pointe, contemporary, jazz, modern, tap, and hip-hop, she has developed a versatile approach that bridges multiple styles and disciplines. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of Texas at Austin in 2022, where her training emphasized concert dance, performance, and choreography. During her time there, she performed in works by Charles O. Anderson, including Of Mutants and Madmen (2022), as well as Gesel Mason’s Burst! (2021). Most notably, she can be seen performing in the 2020 dance film Re(Current) Unrest, choreographed by Charles O. Anderson. She later earned her Master of Science in Marketing from UT Austin (2023).

Gracyn is passionate about merging strong technical foundations with the versatility required in today’s dance industry. She currently teaches ballet to aspiring commercial artists in the Dallas-Fort Worth area at DNA Creatives, while also teaching and choreographing in a variety of styles at her home studio, ADA, where returning as faculty has been especially meaningful. In addition to teaching and choreographing, she has worked in arts administration with organizations including Ballet Austin, Parsons Dance, and American Ballet Theatre. She is currently in her third year on the operations and administrative teams with Joffrey Ballet School, where she also serves as Program Coordinator for Summer Programs, including Joffrey New York Musical Theater, Joffrey Las Vegas, and Joffrey Cirque Arts.
