2022 NYC Jazz & Contemporary Winter Workshop: SPECTRUM
Joffrey Ballet School presents the SPECTRUM Winter Workshop from, a 2.5-day IN-PERSON weekend dance experience on December 9-11, 2022. The event, hosted at our studios in the West Village of New York City, spans the world of both concert and commercial dance, offering a full palette of techniques and genres to embrace the necessity for versatility. Guest artists and our world-renowned faculty from the flagship New York City Jazz & Contemporary Summer Intensive join us for another unforgettable winter event. Dancers ages 12-25 are invited to dance with us and jump-start our 2023 Audition Tour!
Celebrate your holiday season with Joffrey Ballet School!
All students (ages 12-25) joining the SPECTRUM Winter Workshop must provide proof of vaccination for COVID-19 or file an Exemption Form. All dancers, regardless of vaccination status, will also need to submit a negative COVID test result, administered within 72 hours of the workshop start time. Exemptions will be granted with the submission of one of the following forms: Medical or Non-Medical Exemptions.
Masks are currently not required at the Joffrey Ballet School. Visitors who wish to wear masks are, of course, welcome to do so.

- Dancers attending this workshop do not need to audition on our Audition Tour — Every dancer will have the chance to audition for all programs at this event!

The Weekend's Schedule:
- Friday, December 9
- 7:00pm: Check-In/Registration
- 7:30pm-9:00pm: A Kick-Off Master Class
- 7:30pm-9:00pm: “Tinsel Talk, ” a forum with parents/guardians to discuss the industry’s possibilities for a successful future in dance.
- Saturday, December 10
- Approximately 10:00am-5:00pm: A full day of classes in styles including:
- Ballet Technique
- Contemporary
- Jazz
- Theater Dance
- Hip Hop
- Repertoire
- Students and guests can purchase tickets to enjoy the Moulin Rouge on Saturday evening at 8:00pm!
- Approximately 10:00am-5:00pm: A full day of classes in styles including:
