Upon receipt of their acceptance letter, the student is required to submit a non-refundable $75.00 application fee and a $300.00 enrollment fee due by the date indicated on their letter. This enrollment fee will be applied to the student’s summer tuition and will not be refundable if the student fails to take the course. Housing
Below you will find the fees for our Dormitory. There are more spaces in the program than there are beds in the dormitory. If you do not get a spot in the dormitory we have an extensive alternative housing list that includes many housing options near to the school. If the dormitory is full we will provide this housing list to you.
The dormitory is available to students ages 12 and up. However, students ages 12 & 13 must be accompanied by a chaperone OR apply for a chaperone waiver.
We will have 1 Resident Assistant (RA) for every 20 students under the age of 18 and 1 Head Resident in charge of all Joffrey students who will live at the residence. Students will be placed in the dorm by age. There are single, double and triple rooms.
The dormitory is located on the Upper West Side (a very safe upper class neighborhood) 15-20 minutes by subway from the school. RA’s will accompany students on the subway to and from the school at designated times. The dormitory has 24 hour security access limited to students, immediate family members, and summer personnel. The facilities include the equivalent of 2 full size kitchens, 6 microwaves, 10 computers with Internet access, laundry, and lounge with TV. Each room has a new air conditioner, refrigerator, two closets, and a dresser. The dormitory is surrounded by all sorts of restaurants and groceries serving every budget and lifestyle (at the moment we do not provide meals at the dormitory).
