Beginner Jazz (Wednesdays) with Bill Waldinger

This classic Jazz class is designed for dancers of all levels. It provides solid technical training, which is essential to the progress of the beginner. The class is also designed to develop the style and artistry of the more advanced dancer. This method encourages a general lengthening of the body, develops beautiful bodyline, and builds stage presence, musicality and a sense of individual style. Each class begins with a set warm-up in which each exercise is taught and broken-down in clear detail. After the warm-up, a piece of choreography in a "classic jazz" style is taught and studied. The choreography is designed to incorporate the technique taught in the warm up and nurture the artistic development of the dancer.
